![]() ![]() Guess I'm not going to enjoy the game at it's fullest anymore. ![]() Game is installed in C:/ not program files (both). Had a co-worker log in as me and download the game, works fine for him (i5, GTX970). Updated to latest Nvidia drivers, game starts but crashes as soon as game enters playable segment.Ĭhanged folder permissions to Everyone as requested above, no change. Reset my GPU drivers back to stock once more, game refused to even start. But nothing beyond that now, the problem is actually worse. Ran the game, couldn't even get past the opening moment (bath tub scene). ![]() Had some errors crop up after uninstalling older software, so I reset windows (keeping nothing and moving work stuff to my one drive (to transfer back to my SSD and remove from one drive, so no save files were moved). It might take some time, but it's a good step to ensure your system is as game-friendly as it can be.)īecause the Nvidia 2000 series is newer, my guess is it's going to be either a driver issue, like you suggest, or a DirectX issue, as it can't find a legacy file or something from DirectX 9, 10, or 11 that it wants. All of these packages should be installed side-by-side, in the end. If you don't need or can't use something, the installation will say so. I'd recommend going back to at least 2013 and running all available installtions from then to the present. Next, I'd run Visual Studio 2010 (x86), then (圆4). So, I'd run the installation package for Visual Studio 2009 (x86), then do Visual Studio 2009 (圆4).
